Required Standardized Testing Required in Grades 3, 5, & 8-As most of you are already aware of, standardized testing is required of homeschoolers in grades 3, 5, and 8 although some families like to have it done each year just to monitor their student's progress. Once again Pauline will be offering testing dates in March at the Indian Valley Public Library in Telford. The testing fee for BCEI members is $25.00 per child. Parents are asked to contact Seton at 1-540-636-9996 to order the CAT (California Achievement Test) and have it sent directly to Pauline Johns at 146 West Broad Street Telford, PA 18969-1917. After you have called to order your test (which we recommend you do in February) please call Pauline at(215) 723-7226 to let her know the tests are on order so that she can be looking for them. Once the tests have been recieved Pauline will send a confirmation notice and further details. If you have questions regarding the testing or if you wish to have your child tested privately rather than in a group setting please contact Pauline at BCEI. Hint: You can also visit the BCEI website and pull up the Winter 2011 edition of Nehemiah's Leadership to obtain more information about testing.

relatives who DO shop at Giant, we need your help fundraising for BCEI! Once you sign
up for your Giant BonusCard, go to

We also need to elect a President of the class of 2015 (this year's ninth graders).
All student council members will be asked to sign a commitment form for the year and they must maintain at least a "C" (2.5) grade point average throughout the school year. Also, they must have been a member of BCEI for at least one full school year.

Students interested in running for a specific office should do the following:
